Almonds
Almonds: Hey, guess what? Almonds are seeds, not nuts, and they're stuffed with vitamin E, a potent sun blocker. Volunteers who consumed 14 milligrams of the vitamin per day (about 20 almonds) and then were exposed to UV light sunburned less than those who took none. "Vitamin E acts as an antioxidant that helps to protect skin cells from UV light and other environmental factors that generate cell-damaging free radicals," explains Jeffrey Dover, M.D., associate clinical professor of dermatology at Yale University.

My flat tummy secret
I have always been asked about my abs. People often ask me "how did you get your flat stomach". Even when I gain weight my tummy never gets big. This is because I have been working out my abs as a routine twice a day doing just what you see in this video.
While doing this you need to be aware that you need a period of rest. You can't be working your abs every single day. You have to rest at least two days. So what I suggest is to do it every morning and evening of week days (Monday to Friday) and rest on the weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
However, results do not happen over night. You have to be patient! and NOT GIVE UP. But trust me. Once results will appear, you will be more than happy.
And don't worry, you can thank me later

Bad news
I couldn't survive the water detox fasting. I had to eat today because I was feeling so deezy. So I ate breakfast, Lunch and Snacks. To balance it I burnt about 700 calories at the gym. So I believe I am all good.
While at the gym I had a thought. Since fasting for short period of time is good for the health but, since I couldn't go on for more than a day. Why not alternate it. Like fasting for a day, eating the next and fasting again. So I research on that. And guess what I found! >>> Click Here <<< for the next post

Love Handles or Cheechos
Wanna get rid of them?
You must learn to moderate your intake of greasy fried foods, sugary sweets, breads & desserts, alcohol, late night snacking, over condimenting foods with salts, spices, ketchups, sauces & etc.
Now incorporate a mean cardio game & abdominal routine & you're on your way!

5-Day Water Fasting Challenge
Fasting is one of the very best way to “reset the system” and get back on track on the path of ultimate health. A short water fast is the very best way to kickstart your health whenever you’ve fallen off the wagon. And as I mentioned before, I did fell off the wagon really bad. Normally, a 3 day water fast is more recommanded. But I am going on a 5 day water fast detox which is intense!
I FOUND AND ALTERNATIVE WAY AND BETTER WAY.

I found out a that water fast could be good for:
• Going through a tough period of life when you have a lot on your mind (including handling difficult situations such as grief)
• Get back on track with the raw food diet
• Improve digestion
• Eliminate depression
• Eliminate short-term pains such as headaches, bad sleeping habits, etc.
Note: Not everyone can benefit from a short 3-day fast, and you should ask your licensed health practitioner if you have any doubt. Fasting is not advised for many health conditions. Ask your doctor first.
I will keep you posted on how it goes.

Welcome to my blog
•Who am I?
My name is Melyssa. I live in New York and I work in the fashion industry. I am in no way a personal trainer nor a nutritionist. I am a newbie blogger who just share my personal experiences and thoughts.
•Why this blog?
First and foremost because I've been letting myself go way too far. Slagging around and eating junk food daily. As a result, I've gained tones of weight and my beautiful pair of jeans refuse to fit. So I think it's time for me to take the wheels and get my body back. Secondly, I could have done this without blogging but my lack of motivation encouraged me to do so. In that way I would be much more consistent since I would be required to update the blog and I might also inspire other people in the same case.
•What would be the blog content?
In this blog I would share loads of tips on how to become fit when working out and how to lose weight the healthy way. All tips would either be found online or from friends who are personal trainers. I will also share photos of my fitness and weight loss progress. Finally, I would share some motivational and inspirational quotes and pictures.
On that note, I hope you enjoy your visit.
